About the role

As a Software Developer (Intern) at Vamhi you’ll help shape and deliver our Atlassian Marketplace product roadmap.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, writing and testing code for Atlassian apps and internal tools.
  • Participating in peer reviews and giving constructive feedback.
  • Maintaining and improving existing software applications.
  • Designing highly scalable and testable code.
  • Investigating and fixing programming bugs.
  • Writing automated tests at unit, integration and functional levels.
  • Troubleshooting builds and deployments.
  • Working with the team on support escalations when required.

What we're looking for

  • Strong development skills in Java, Node.js or JavaScript (freshers welcome).
  • Understanding of basic web technologies and REST APIs.
  • Experience working in a self-starter or project-based environment.
  • Familiarity with agile or iterative development practices.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tooling.
  • Experience with Git and a build tool such as Maven or Gradle.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or a related field.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
