The role of a software test engineer I will help to shape and deliver on our product roadmap.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Collaborate with QA staff, project managers, leads, and subject experts for test planning.
• Report and document issues, identify root causes.
• Ensure testing meets agreed-upon requirements.
• Research and suggest cost-effective tools to enhance testing and product quality.
• Apply existing tools to new testing needs where possible.
• Partner with tech teams to resolve performance issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends and tools.
• Conduct project reviews with defined criteria.
• Enhance methodologies for planning, execution, and reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement and QA best practices.
• Maintain audit-ready test record documentation.
• Collaborate across teams to improve QA processes.
• Implement improvements and ensure follow-through on RCA results.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Strong software development skills in backend and frontend — especially JavaScript (ES6), NodeJS, jQuery, Java.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, async programming, and integration.
• Experience in self-starter environments and agile workflows.
• Comfortable with CI/CD environments and Git for source control.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture and extensible APIs.
• Knowledge in Maven, builds, and code compilation.
• SQL or other relational database skills.
• Strong root cause analysis and research skills.
• Clear communication skills (written and oral).
• Basic budget awareness and process improvement mindset.
• Understanding of relevant industry trends and practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industry experience in frontend development (excluding internship)
• BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
